Lurbel renews its commitment to Oeko-Tex as a pillar of its R&D

The Spanish technical sportswear brand Lurbel is renewing Oeko-Tex standard 100 label as a further sign of its commitment to sportspersons' health and performance.

This brand guarantees that the garments are free from substances that are harmful for the sportsman or woman such as dyes, pesticides, allergens, etc...

Because applying textile technologies and innovative structures to Lurbel sportswear would not make sense without the safety principle provided by this standard. In fact, it is on this basis that the R+D department researches innovative textile technologies and structures that optimise athlete performance.

Skin contact

Given that most of Lurbel's garments are designed for use in direct contact with the skin, (socks, underlayer garments, compression garments, t-shirts and leggings, etc) for the product development department to renew the commitment to Oeko-Tex every year is essential and since 2011 it is one of the processes that has been marked in red on the calendar.
