Since the launch of the Lurbel Faz face mask in March 2020, the Lurbel product department has continued to research options for optimising the reusable protective face mask.
Six months later, now that it is clear that this accessory has come to stay and it has become just another item of clothing worn on a daily basis, the brand is introducing an improved version of the Faz face mask to adapt to this “new normal”.
It has been improved on three levels: reinforcing its durability, improving the stability of the fabric and increasing user comfort.
Free gift mask holder
In addition to the mechanical and technological product improvements, with the new Lurbel Faz Sport the brand is offering a free gift semi-transparent polypropylene mask holder that facilitates storing and transporting this accessory that has already become an indispensable part of our daily lives.
The mask holder has been developed with recycled polypropylene (a material that is also 100% recyclable) and can be cleaned with a cotton swab and household disinfectant.
Compliance with European regulations
This new version of the reusable protective face mask complies with European Standards (CWA 17553:2020 for Community Face Coverings), thus standardising the product in accordance with the requirements issued by the European Committee for Standardization (CEN) on the 17th June 2020. This guarantees standardised distribution within the entire European community.
More adaptable and available in 3 sizes
The Faz Sport face mask is available in 3 different sizes, with the intention of providing improved facial coverage to the public in general, now required to wear face masks. It will be available in sizes S, M and L, according to a range of measurements taken from the circumference in cm at forehead height.
Proven filtration efficiency after 100 washes
The Faz Sport face mask’s material has been developed with the same Regenactiv technology as the previous model, but now comes in a new pure black colour with a different compaction. This has been tested after 100 washes as it aims to make the product more durable, as the fabric is more mechanically stable over the long term and better withstands use and washing.
*After 100 washes the filtration efficiency of the Faz Sport face mask still complies with European standards.
Improved ergonomic design and a better fit
The Faz Sport face mask includes several updates to its finish, such as reinforced side weaving and optimised elastic straps for a more comfortable fit.
The product will be available from the 18th September at Lurbel points of sale and from Monday 21st September at www.peoplesapiens.es, the brand's official online shop.
